We like our manes to look Cool, edgy, and the absolute healthiest hair you have ever seen!
During a session at Fon Salon our team will show you at home styling techniques that are so simple to do in under ten minutes. Your stylist will recommend the highest grade and cruelty free hair products that our company has sourced. We are confident that enhancing your look is achievable through the correct selection of colour to complement your skin tone and the appropriate haircut tailored to each individual face shape.
So, which cut will suit me?
There are technically no rules, whatever you can wear confidently will look better than any advice we can give. But here are a few things we have learnt with all our experience over the years…
If you have more of a circular/round face, try something shoulder length and longer and avoid ‘heavy’ fringes.
If you have more of a narrow/oval shaped face you can go shorter – all the way to a pixie cut.
Clients that have longer face shapes often feel like super long hair can drag their face down. So, to soften the look we recommend lots of texture and face framing layers.
Fine to medium hair is the best texture to work a shorter style on and even curls can be cut accordingly to suit a shorter style. Curly girls – just keep in mind you might need a few more products to assist you (Our team of hair specialists can recommend something to suit)
If you have very thick and frizzy hair, short hair may not be the best option unless of course you speak to us about chemical straightening or a Keratin smoothing treatment, as this saves so much styling time.
What products will I need?
Although a good haircut will be easier for you to style, you will need some professional products to support your new style to ensure its Insta worthy.

How often will I need to have it cut?
You’re looking at anywhere between 4–8-week appointment times to maintain your haircut (depending on the length).
We are a gender-neutral salon, our female and male clients are not segregated on our service menu, and everyone pays the same price. It’s simple and fair.
