Welcome Z Ö E !

Welcome Z Ö E !

Fon Salon is growing and we only hand-pick the best of the bunch hairdressers that are committed and passionate about making YOU feel amazing.

And when you step into the salon, we want you to feel welcome and part of our tribe. We also want you to know exactly who’s standing behind the chair and looking after your hair.

So allow us to introduce you to Fon Facts – a fun little series we’ve created so you can get to know us better!

How did you begin your career in hair?

I started in a small town called Lyndoch, in the Barossa Valley when I was 15. The first day I started working in a salon, I knew this was for me. The day I finished year 12 I went into full time work and I’ve never looked back. I have been hairdressing for nearly 10 years in Adelaide and now my path has led me to Fön where I can grow my knowledge and experience a new kind of hairdressing.

What’s your hair superpower?

Bright lived in blondes, blunt haircuts and pastel tones.

Claim to fame?

In 2018/19 I took out the title of South Australia ‘Rising Star’ for colour trophy. I was lucky enough to represent my state in the grand final in Melbourne.

How often do you wash your hair?

I try to only wash my hair once a week at most. I have super sensitive skin so washing it less lets my natural oils build up and create a protective barrier on my scalp.

Products/ tools that you can’t live without?

Oi oil by Davines is something I can use both wet and dry and daily without weighting my hair down. My GHD mini styler is without a doubt my best friend when creating texture on short hair.

Style icon?

Lily Collins

What do you love most about being part of the Fon crew?

Family has always been the most important part of my life. So when it comes to a work family, Fön feels like home. We are each others biggest fan and the support and encouragement is what makes coming in everyday so much more rewarding.

Where can we find you when not in the salon?

I am a massive homebody when it comes to my down time. I’m either be set up on the couch with a cup of tea or back home with my family in the Barossa Valley. But don’t get me wrong; I love dining out and treating myself to a cheeky wine.

Fave shopping destination?

2020 taught me the importance of supporting local. Any small business is where I try to do most of my shopping. It’s Dangerous that King William Road has such amazing boutiques.

Dream celebrity client?

Zoë Kravitz
